2020 Manufactured Housing Improvement Workshop

On behalf of the US Department of Energy Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), Oak Ridge National Laboratory is seeking applicants to participate in a Manufactured Housing Improvement Workshop. The purpose of the workshop is to develop recommendations for improving the weatherization of manufactured homes under the program. Participants selected for the workshop will provide ideas and identify feasible solutions on all aspects of manufactured home weatherization, including how to increase savings and/or reduce costs associated with weatherization measures.

The Manufactured Housing Improvement Workshop will meet virtually on the dates and times listed below:

  • Tuesday, July 14, 2:00-4:00 EDT – Full group
  • Thursday, July 16 – Breakout groups
    • 12:00-2:00 EDT (1 or 2 concurrent sessions as needed)
    • 3:00 – 5:00 EDT (1 or 2 concurrent sessions as needed)
  • Tuesday, July 21, 2:00-4:00 EDT – Full group

Participants will be expected to attend both of the full group sessions and at least one of the breakout group sessions. Participants will also be expected to spend about 2-3 hours outside of the sessions to review or develop materials. Participants employed under WAP may cover their time with Training and Technical Assistance funds.
